The Gloucestershire Regiment Memorial, will be officially unveiled on the 25th September 2024 at the National Memorial Arboretum by HRH The Duke of Gloucester. This long-anticipated memorial has been created to honour the full scope of the regiment’s service, from 1694 to 1994, and to recognise its 300-year legacy of loyalty and sacrifice to the Crown and Country. While individual tributes and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum have celebrated aspects of the Regiment’s history, this memorial addresses the need for a comprehensive national and international tribute.

Thanks to all the support we’ve received, the memorial will stand as a lasting testament to the Regiment’s significant contributions, ensuring future generations remember and honour the sacrifices made by its soldiers.
